BelView Tower, Vienna, Austria

BelView Tower is a residential high-rise in Quartier Belvedere Central, immediately beside the Schweizergarten and near Vienna’s main railway station. The building is conceived as a monolithic, organically contoured volume, wrapped by perimeter parapet bands of white powder-coated aluminium. These bands are selectively interrupted in response to environmental parameters (wind, noise, and solar or daylight exposure), producing a differentiated façade of opaque and glazed balcony components expressed as linear and point-like elements.
Contributed to the project during my internship in 2016.
